Splash does not support DVD playback?

Hey guys, i downloaded splash version and when i click open and scroll down to my dvd driver letters where my dvd is inside, nothing loads up?
This is the only player that shows the best video quality for dvd videos and videos in general. Cyberlink power dvd is what i have to use for watching dvd/blu ray dvd playback, and i use splash just for watching videos in general non dvd.

but is there going to be a upgrade to the video player so dvd playerback is avaible?

Hi DimondEyes,

DVD and Blu-Ray require special payed licensing to be legally supported (not by cracking DVD encryption using brute force etc. like some of the software around do). We have been working some time ago on this but gave up. We are focusing in Splash 2.0 and soon in version 3.0 on 4K/8K video file playback with motion interpolation and HDR10 motion interpolation.
