Splash needs an update

I would like to say big thank you guys for not giving up on Splash it is the best UI media player interface I have ever seen.

I hope you good luck and you have a lot to catch up with VLC/POT/POWER DVD etc but I am sure you can do it Action! is excellent software.

Just some request;
1- Splash needs an update to fit windows 10 and to be able to make it as default player for all media.
2 - there's a problem with the sound. when i boost it, it becomes very noisy the sound is not clear at all
3- the app consumes a lot of CPU when playing videos. I compared it with VLC and PotPlayer, they consume a little CPU when playing videos particularly.
_ I hope that you fix these issues in the next update.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We would gladly spend 100% time on improving Splash but we have 2 big projects we are working on. But we will update Splash to version 3.0 when we release Action! 5. We will try to address most of the issues reported and the UI will be Windows 11 like (so a big change here).

Are there any plans to introduce the option to change the video playback speed?

1) will Splash 3.0 be freeware ?

2) can you please add the option to have 2 subtitles at same time. For example German above the video and English under the video. It is perfect for language learning purposes and for movies nights with international friends from university or work etc ....
