Problem recording system audio on Windows 11

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 to record screen and system audio. However, when I start recording, the software does not pick up sound from the system, even though I have selected the correct output device in the settings.
I have tried double checking the audio settings and making sure no other software is using the audio device, but the problem persists.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have a solution to fix it?
