Audio desynchronization after few minutes

Fri Nov 02, 2012 4:31 pm

Hello,
I've got a problem with Action.
After few minutes of recording, the sound is delayed (not in all games but in the most of).
It seems the mic's sounds is alright, there's a problem only with system's sounds.
An example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZjBgDDEew4
Please, help me ! :)

Which Action! version are you running? Audio desynchronization is a previous versions problem.

So it's strange, because I didn't have that problem in previous versions, I've started getting this from about 1.10. I've got the newest version, 1.12.

I have same problem in Action! 1.12.1. I tried recording audio from Realtek ALC889A(24bit 48000hz) and from Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Headset( 16bit 44100/48000Hz). I am recording microphone with Logitech USB MIc (16bit, 44100Hz or 48000Hz). I tried to record into SSD drive - same effect.

I think that this is caused by video mixing system. Desyncing usually starts after the loading screen when the FPS drops below the value set in the program. For example, Action! set to 30 fps. When game is loading next stage FPS drop to 10 for 3 secounds. The sound when loading the game is "assigned" to 90 video frames (30 fps for 3 secounds), and the program captures 30 (10fps for 3 seconds). To save the entire soundtrack, program delays the sound by 60 frames (2 seconds). I hope that my observations will help solve the problem.

Maybe you're right. Additionally I've got a USB headset too - Fatal1ty HS-1000.
