nice to hear - in my experience, turning VSYNC OFF in games, and setting the Thread priority to low in Windows, helps the last bit.

in your windows tray (clock) you have a VirtuMVP Icon, simply right click on the icon to turn GPU Virtualization ON and OFF - which in effect enables / disables QuickSync for Action - but enables Windows capture..
videogramez wrote: 2) Virtu MVP says that my license is not activated and that I have 29 days left - does this mean I have to buy it? If I have to buy this to get Action! working correctly then that is a much higher price than Action! alone....
Virty MVP 2.0 is free ... dont download the newest version, get this on: - it shouldn't display any activation needed :?:

I'm not sure Virtue MVP can be installed on all laptop.

I have asus UX32VD i7 3517 (2.4Ghz) and it doesn't want to install it says :

You're trying to install Virtu MVP for Desktop PC System types. Your system is not of type Desktop PC System. Virtu MVP Setup will now exit

Hmmm... Maybe thats the only showstopper for VirtuMVP ... and not a technical issue as i talked about ..

like i said, VirtuMVP is a feature that Motherboard manufacture (or system manufacture) make available to the user - apparently though a licens.

1) Yeah I don't have VSYNC on in games anyway and lowering the thread priority still doesn't do anything, but at least it doesn't feel laggy like it used to, and that's important, even if it still looks a bit laggy like Sonic does. It's better than nothing.

2) I don't have any way to turn Virtualization off from the right-click on the tray icon

But I can hit the giant GPU Virtualization button once I do open the control panel and that seems to work. Thanks!

3) I did download Virtu 2.1.224 from that link and this is what it tells me:

If this is not the right version which one should I use?

[Disable Virtu MVP] does exactly the same as the green button

My version of VirtuMVP has "License Activated" - because my Motherboard is on this list: (Asus P8Z77-Deluxe)

too bad that you have to buy it  -- next time you upgrade, look for VirtuMVP support on the Motherboard manufacture homepage.

Well that's weird...

1) My motherboard does say it supports Virtu - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... id=3855#ov

2) My motherboard is not mentioned on the page you linked - - but it is on this page -

So ummm... what's the difference between Virtu and VirtuMVP then? Are they 2 different products? I can't find any Virtu product that is not MVP...
