When I record, Mirrillis Action has stopped working

I'm having some issues with Mirrillis Action I wasn't before, it seems to be only certain games I try to record(More so the record a portion of the screen feature)

Whenever I hit my recording key on the game being up, Mirrillis Action will crash, not even recording a second of footage.

I'm using windows 8.1 64 bit, any help would be appreciated.. I've already tried reinstalling.

Does it occur with AVI or MP4 recordings?

It occurs with both types, although I primarily try to use AVI recording.
