Worked first day, then sopped completely

Fri Oct 09, 2015 11:04 pm

I was so happy to finally find a game video capture program that actually worked as advertised.
After downloading the free trial version and testing it on my Battlefield 4 game, I immediately purchased the full version for $32.90.
I was able to upload a short test video onto YouTube just to make sure that it worked….it did!
See test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA1yuRrwTLk
Then my problem started….I closed the program and the following morning I clicked on the desktop icon to open the program,,,,,,nothing…the Mirillis Action logo opened on the desktop but my cursor just spun and spun and spun….the program would not open!

I uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed. I have uninstalled and re-installed 20 times now with no success.
I have done this both with and without UAC. I have deleted the registry files. I have deleted the program files. I completed a system scan for any errors.
I went so far as to download the Splash free trial to see if that would download and open….it did just fine.
My initial download was version 1_27_1, so I downloaded the new 1_27_2 version…..Same problem!

Sometimes it will look like the download was successful, but still not open, other times it gives a write error to action_svc.exe.
I was so happy to find your program, until it stopped loading the following day

Did you recently made any significant changes to your PC? New video drivers, Windows updates etc? Have you tried running your Windows in Safe Mode and see if you can get Action working?

Like I said in my original post.
I downloaded the trial version and tested it out.
I checked the test video file that I had recorded on Battlefield 4.
When I saw that it worked as advertised, I immediately purchased the full version.
After I entered the SERIAL NUMBER for product activation, I closed out of the program.
The next morning I clicked on the Action Icon and the rest is history.
You can look at my original post to see all steps I have taken to try and get the program working again.
There were no updates or drivers added or any changes done whatsoever.
I simply closed the program and it would not reopen.

Since I am not getting an answer to my issue from the Mirillis team, has anyone else had this same problem?
