I got the same problem on .mpg file with MPEG-1 video and MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio - it's probablly just unsupported.
What type of file are you trying to playback? (what info(I) splash lite gives on that video?)
Desktop (Intel i7-970, ATI 5870, Windows 7 x64)
Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830TG (Intel i5-2410M, nVidia GT540M, Windows 7 x64)
PS Vita, Nokia N8

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the feedback. We are currently extending our MPEG-2 video decoder for MPEG-1 support so it should be available soon in Splash Lite. MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio is already supported.

The problem with MKVs you are having is not common but we will try to figure something out basing on your computer's configuration.

PS. What kind of OS are you running (XP/Vista/Win7)?

Best regards.

I use Win7 x64, If there is anything else you need, just ask.
Have you built in an log function in the program?

We do not use any log function in our software.

Does the problem with MKV file repeats for all mkvs?
You said that day before it worked but there was no picture and no sound?

What is your current graphics drivers version and dou you keep drivers up to date?

Yes, I said i worked, because the progress bar was moving. But no picture or sound.

.mkv files does not work at all.

I just have 3 .mkv files, but I hope it support this, because an mkv is an mkv.. I don`t want to use one player for one type of mkv and one for some others.

Else this program looks great.

Please open info panel (press "i") and check what audio (full info including channels and Hz) and video types are detected by Splash.

If you have any mkv samples that do not work with Splash and if you could share with us, please contact us at support@mirillis.com.
