Action makes game run at low fps.

I have had this problem since the time I've had it and never thought of discussing it until now. I normally play "Garry's Mod" that when without action recording has about 60 to 90 fps. But when I'm recording its about 20 to 15 fps! My computer specs are "GTX 1060 3GB (GRAPHICS CARD), 8 GIGS OF RAM, WINDOWS 7 64BIT PC, AMD A4-6300 APU (CPU)", that's mainly all I know.
