Please try following steps below to completely re-install Action. You will need your serial number to activate your product again.
1. Uninstall Action!
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
3. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
4. Remove Action! catalog.
5. Reboot your PC.
6. Install Action! again. Make sure that your installer file comes from official website - www.mirillis.com (if you have not purchased Action! through Steam).
You can activate Action! with the same serial number as before.

These steps should restore your Action! settings to default.

I'm having the same problem. I can record the webcam on the same file of the screen recording but when I choose to Record it on a separate video file (.avi) it doesn't work and it works as if I had selected the option to record the webcam only when the button is being pressed.

It happens for screen recording and for game recordings as well.

But this feature was working well for me a few months ago..

Hi P4C0T3,

Just double checked this feature and it seems to work. We did not change enything in this area lately. I have selected MP4, record webcam to separate AVI. Two recordings are done MP4 + AVI and each have the same duration.

Well, unfortunately it's not working for me.. I have no ideia what to do...
Is there any possible solution to this?
I've changed the webcam, used my DSLR camera as a webcam and it still doesn't work..

Hi P4C0T3,

We have found this problem... When you enable recording webcam to separate file and select "Time-Shift" in Game mode then camera is invisible :( We have fixed this in v4.12.2 (we will release it tomorrow). I hope this is your case and we will be able to help you.

Shame on us :(

For now in Time-Shift the camera is never recorded to a separate file as this requires two Time-Shifts (we are working on it).
