Having problem about subtitles when playing MKV files

Hi everyone, I just download the splash pro trial yesterday night, and I feel good about this player. However, this is a problem while I am playing the MKV files, when I turn on the subtitle, then the screen goes black, nothing shows up, but when the subtitle is off, the screen comes back, bascially is that screen and subtitle can't be shown at the same time, so could someone help me out with it? I really appreciate it, thanks

Whats your graphics card model?
If it is ATI please disable antialiasing option in Catalyst.
Also make sure to update graphics drvers to the latest version.
