Java Crash

Whenever i play minecraft (java game) with the recording set to game recording it works fine in windowed mode, but as soon as i put it full screen it says java platform se binary has crashed, i am useing an i5 3.4ghz processer, a navidia geforce gtx 660 graphics card, and windows 8 64bit. Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem.
