Questions.

Wed Apr 16, 2014 8:25 am

Can anyone tell me why I should purchase this software when a) I cannot change the start/stop key from F9 and b) there is no joystick support? I fly flight-combat sims and having the most critical button (F9) not only not configurable to a joystick but unable to be switched to a more sane keyboard input is just...well, really? This is 2014, not 1985, right?

Not that any other capture software supports joystick inputs but most of them do, at least, allow the hot-key to be switched.

You want my money, don't be so lazy. Or if the coding is difficult, hire a programmer fit for purpose.

All hotkey can be changed for most of the keyboard keys (excluding special combination used in system).

When I tried the demo version the F9 key was greyed out and I could not change it. For a flight combat sim I need to use the SPACE bar to activate recording, I can do that without taking my eyes off the screen at a critical moment, as I would have to if looking for the tiny F9 key.

And why don't you code DX-input so a joystick button can be assigned? Is it really that difficult?

What u were looking at was the checkmark next to the binding, not the binding itself. Move ur mouse over the hotkey box and u'll get a hotkey icon straight below ur mouse. Now press any key u want and it'll change into it, i have mine on F10.

Are u saying u want to be able bind a hotkey from ur joystick into Action? I've never seen any recording software having that kind of support.
