Youtube Quality Settings

I need some help or advice. Is there anyway i can upload 1440P AVI files to youtube? Mirillis converts them to 1080P i think when i upload. Is there anyway to improve the quality of the videos i upload? When they're on my pc they look great, once they hit youtube they lose a lot of quality despite my using the high quality preset/highest bitrate while encoding with Mirillis using Intel quick sync.

This will always happen. The youtube always reduces the quality of all the videos, he focuses more on compatibility with browsers players (Flash and HTML5).

The only way to get better quality is more bitrate on sended video. No preset influence.
