Record pause?

OS: Windows 8
Video Card: Nvidua GeForce GT 740M (latest Driver)
Memory: 12GB
Monitor Resolution: 1980x1080
Game Problem: any
Video Type: mp4


Since the last update Action! randomly cuts off about 20 seconds in every of my videos. The strange thing ist, that it isn't displayed in the HUD, i only recognize it after recording. I occurs in every game i record (i didn't tried it out with desktop recording).
I tried to patch to an older version (1.17.1) so i can record my videos but then a notifocation comes up i should download Action! it from the official web page (i did so) an the program closes...

1) Am I the only one with the problem or is there a solution to get the mysteriuos cut away (i don't pause the record, i checked that several times)?
2) Can i patch to an older version without get an notification that it is illegal...?
