Action! Is Not Playing A Recorded File [and more]

Tue Mar 24, 2015 12:46 am

I have recorded a playthrough of FEAR that's about 3 hours long and recorded at a framerate of exactly 120FPS.
The Youtube Export button is grayed out after selecting that video file in the "video recordings" window, and so are the upload and facebook buttons. There is a video of Portal that plays and the "youtube export" button is colored in and available, and double-clicking on the file makes it playback in Action!

Double-clicking the FEAR video does not do anything; nothing happens and right-clicking shows "Open/Play" and "Export" as grayed out.

120 fps feature has been added mostly for post processing purposes. There is no playback available in Action! player for 120fps videos. These videos also cannot be exported.

Well, that explains the problem, but now what am I going to do to get this file online? Is there something I can do to convert the file from 120fps to 60fps and then upload it?

It sort of seems like the file I've created is unusable.

Something I'm attempting is to play the media back and re-record it through the media player. This makes a 60fps video and the file can be played back, but it's jerky and the video has bad skips. This is not a perfect solution and I want to know if you have any better suggestions than what I'm attempting.

You can use video editors such as Sony Vegas to edit your 120fps video clip. Most of internet video services does not support 120fps videos.
