Artifacts Added to Video During Transtions with Movie Studio

I'm putting together video files recorded with Action! using Movie Studio Platinum 12. But when I use the transitions the video looks glitchy. I do not have this problem with video files from other recording software. Any suggestions?

This happens with other game footage as well.
