Problem with AVIVO

Mon Nov 08, 2010 11:23 am

I'm using a switchable ati card, which is the HD4330. now.. the question is.. why does splash player pro prefer using the intel clear video as the hardware acceleration? i can't seems to make it switch to AVIVO instead. but once i turn off the intel integrated card in the laptop bios, splash player will then use AVIVO. this there anyway to make splash player use avivo instead of clear video when in normal switchable state? thanks

Try disabling under device manager the Intel GPU graphics. I think Splash uses the first GPU detected by Windows at first install. After disabling it might use the ATI GPU but you will fail getting better power savings except you re-enable the Intel GPU back.

Return to “Splash PRO”
