How do you downgrade the version?

Mon Oct 12, 2015 3:38 pm

I've been having issues with the latest patch where the games are crashing whenever I have Action! 1.27.2 up and running.

Reinstall doesn't seem to work, so I decided to try my old fix, which was to go to the version history page: https://mirillis.com/en/products/action_history.html and get an older and working version.

Now, however, all the versions has the same exact file, which is the 1.27.2 file.

I can't use Action! now until it's patched, except for the very first Action! version I installed which was back in 2013 with the BF4 Beta.

I think u can request another version by emailing the support. But i've also heard that it's tied to an extended service from the store.

I have the Extended Service, but the support will just give you a link to the version history page.

I've been saving versions of Aciton for quite some time (I've missed a few), but it doesn't matter because you can only downgrade so far before the system tells you you're using a pirated version of the software (when you aren't).

I saved all of those because I've been burned by other programs where they don't offer an older version to downgrade to in the event that the latest and greatest doesn't work correctly when a prior version did, but apparently you're only allowed to downgrade so far before the system tells you that you can't. /shrug
