motion2 settings???????

Thu Jan 12, 2012 10:29 pm

I don't quite understand the motion 2 settings. What is the difference between 1-5 and 6-10? How is setting 1 (2x) different from lets say setting 3, which is also 2x the frame rate. Quality difference, or what?
Also, I selected Ultra 1080p on my i3-2330m, and it seems to be running smoothly, although from what I've read, it shouldn't.
One more thing, if I change the frame rate in motion 2 to lets say 60p, should the video info also say 60fps. It still says 24fps on the mkv movies I've tried.
thanks :)

Higher motion2 value means higher tolerance for artifacs but also higher level of smooth video. Motion2 set to 3 will less skip framerate interpolation resulting in more smooth video but more artifacts can be visible.

Ultra 1080p is working only for 1080p videos.

Info panel shows only real source file information.
It does not include information about Motion2.
