Loving Splash!

Tue Jul 27, 2010 8:17 pm

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to thank you for the develoment of your great media player. I just bought Pro and I see that you have some exciting additions to come as well.

I got sick of trying to keep up with a mess of codecs and splitters that never quite worked right, so I searched a long time for a good high def media player thats easy to use and maintain. I thought VLC was about as good as it got but was frustrated by its poor performance, poor image quality, and skipping surround audio.

I stumbled across splash and its a breath of fresh air, exactly what Im looking for. I first used it on my netbook to play 720p video while travelling, now that I bought Pro its powering my main HTPC 55"LCD w/ 5.1 entertainment rig too.

keep up the good work!

I agree. IT's such a relief when you start a heavy movie and it just works, including the subs :)
