Thanks one more time. I'm interested in AMD CPUs for 1080p with very high bitrates (MKV and BD bitrates).

With good motherboard you can unlock two cores in Phenom II 555 (work as quad), read about it.

Choose Asus or Gigabyte, read the user reviews about unlocking AMD cores. Also make sure the CPU revision matches.
