Recording games that are do not have Direct X 10

Sun Oct 28, 2012 7:55 pm

Hello Action! people. So my question is if there is anyway to record games that do not have Direct X 10 or whatever is supported by Action! without having to switch them into windowed mode. So far for every game Ive had to put it into windowed mode which as I see it decreases the quality of the video in the end. when I do run the game in windowed mode I have to put it into 800x600 because 1024x768 goes off the bottom of my screen. If there is a fix for this or a future update that would be great. Thanks! Also what would the optimal settings be if I want to record then export then edit then export again? Thanks!!!

Action! supports DirectX9 and higher. Lower DirectX version can be recorded via Region Desktop Mode when they are windowed. What's your regular screen resolution?

My normal screen resolution is 1366x768. If I try and run a game in windowed mode with the height being 768 the game window runs right off the screen so I cant do active region that way. Its just a minor frustration thats all.
