Video dissapears in VideoStudio x5

Wed Nov 28, 2012 8:45 pm

The Action AVI videos i record i import them into Corel videostudio x5 and when i play the project the audio only plays and no video. BUT when i play it as a clip it plays with both the video and audio. Action videos used to work in videostudio x5 but all of the sudden i cant get them to play the video properly in videostudio x5. I also have fraps and i have no problem with their avi playing in videostudio x5.
Help please.

no it doesn't seem to be doing it in files larger than 1 gb. i just recorded a file over 1 gig and it shows up. Why would that be? So what can i do about the files smaller than that? I still have that problem.

We found a similar problem in our labs with files lower than 1gb. Your situation somehow confirms it. We will try to track the cause of this problem and fix it. If you will find any new information please let us know.

I'm also having this issue. I realise this thread is quite old, so has any fix been found for this?
