Video Rendering

Tue Jan 01, 2013 4:51 pm

Hello.

I'm recording my games with Quick Sync at 60 FPS. Quality is awesome, just awesome, I don't know what else to say. But when I render it with Sony Vegas with same or better quality settings, somehow it doesn't work. I'm having disturbing quality loss compared to original MP4 file.

I know how to use Vegas in terms of video rendering settings and tried everything. No matter what setting is used there is a quality loss.

Any ideas?

That's odd. Have you tried using raw files or exported ones?

I use the raw files.

Here is an example clip: http://youtu.be/uvd9L2IFkm4

The quality is crippled by Youtube, the rendered clip on my harddrive is a lot better. And The raw videos are way better than the rendered clip.

I'm guessing now that some quality loss is inevitable after rendering videos. However I'd really like to be able to have the same quality of the raw files.

Thanks anyway.

Well, there's nothing we can do. It's YouTube fault that they are not allowing higher bitrates for uploaded videos. Here are some tips for video encoding that may help you http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/a ... 22171&rd=1
