Lag Spikes During Games

Hello Mirillis team! I am having problems whenever I record with Action! I get small lag spikes every few minutes or so on every game I try and record and it gets very annoying after awhile. I dont know if someone has already posted about this or not so sorry if this is a repeat of another post of some sort. Thanks again for helping you guys have great support!

Are these lags occurs while recording?

Yes I only receive lag when I play a game and record with Action! Would saving the file to like a USB drive or something maybe help instead of saving it to the same drive that all my games are installed on?

not really.
the external hard drive needs to be fast in order to record without lags.
the best solution is to record on your internal hard drive with lower settings and see what you get.

Ok ill try that. Currently I am recording AVI at original size at 30fps. What should I try lowering it to?

Try downgrading it to 720p or even into 480p and see if your issue still occurs.
