First impressions (HOT!)

Sun Dec 26, 2010 11:28 pm

I've downloaded your player today and after several hours of using bought it without any doubt. Even if I won't use it in time, I just want to express my gratitude to those who make such great products.

First of all, it looks great. Splash PRO is not another silver-covered-player-with-confused-interface, but a modern piece of art with simple enough and quite sufficient layout. In general, I love tons of settings to adjust software to my needs, but here somehow I'm almost satisfied except couple things like lack of hotkeys or normal playback resume. However I'm pretty sure, developers will fix this.

Second, I was really stunned by the quality of video and sound. Seriously, I never thought you can make your 720p videos look any better, but turning on Detail Boost and launching sound directly to optical out does real magic. Thank you for that. At least for TV Shows it works PERFECT.

Third, some time ago I bought Zoom Player - to that moment it was the best player available. But support appeared to be AWESOME. I really hope Splash PRO has better support and developers are looking to improve their product. And according to numerous responses on forum, it appears to be so.

Thank you anyway. This is the rare case for me, when I'm really impressed.

Thank you very much for you nice feedback.
We work hard to satify our customers/users needs.
We keep improving the software and new features will be added gradually.

With the latest versions we have added standard playback resume option and now it is available as standard auto resume and also as a menual resume from playlist window or a shortcut (ctrl+space).
