System sound not recording

I'm trialing this software and like everything so far except that I don't seem to be able to record or hear the system sound. What settings do I have to change? I've tried all variations, haven't tested my microphone yet but first I'd like to be able to hear mouse clicks and so on. I've test a few other free screen recorders and they recorded clicks okay. I'm using a Dell Vostro notebook running Windows 8. Please any help, I really like the image quality and ease of use but I need some sound

Update; I just assumed that system sound meant mouse clicks, but that's not necessarily the case. I can actually record audio with Action. My mistake so far.
