Settings are not being saved [Fixed, new question]

Sun Apr 21, 2013 6:29 pm

EDIT: I found a solution, ignore the following, but I have a different question at the bottom
Hello,

I recently (literally 10 minutes ago) purchased Action after being happy with the trial. I cannot for the life of me figure out however, how to permanently change the output folder and to keep the HUD (fps counter) out of my film. I unchecked the box and changed the output folder, but it doesn't change anything. Is there some "save settings" button I am not seeing?

Thank You
-------------------------------------------------------

I mis-read the settings. I was changing the export folder, not the save folder. As for the HUD, I was unchecking the box instead of checking it. Anyways, can someone explain to me what exporting a video does? Also, what exactly changes when you change video quality from normal to "high" and input range from 0-255 to the other setting?

Thanks

Exporting is a simple process that convert your RAW video materials into MP4 h.264 video. With Action! export feature you are able to export your videos for different resolutions, mobile devices and social media site like Facebook and YouTube.

High quality is for MP4 recording and offers better video quality. As for input range, it's a color output range. Whenever your video is too bright or too dark try changing the Input range.
