Audio Problem

Thu May 30, 2013 3:10 pm

I bought Action! a few months ago and I could record my voice as well as a video at the same time in the same type of file. However, recently, I can't do this. I'm not sure why, maybe it's something with the way I set up the recorder? I can speak to my friends on Skype and they can hear me fine so it is probably not my laptop.

I was wondering if there was a way to revert back to the Default settings. If not, I think it'd be a really useful option to have.

Could we maybe have a screenshot of your audio settings?
If you don't use post-editing, all that you need to do is uncheck this box:

This will merge the audio tracks into one stream and you won't need to do any additional steps.
radi wrote:What you need to know about recording into separate audio track is you only hear one audio track at time when you are playing back your video file. You can switch between active audio track with "A" hotkey in Action! player.

Separate audio track does not work with MP4.
If you have recorded files that might have been recording with that box checked, you can follow this method that I posted here to salvage them:

Hope I helped!
