Can't Record Higher Than 30fps

Mon Jul 08, 2013 12:09 am

Hi, I love this screen recorder and all, but I can't seem to make any smooth recordings. Every time I record at anything higher than 30fps in games, the finished product has tons of stutters. The only game I've tested that didn't have this issue was Battlefield 3. Any ideas why this happens?

Not most of the time. Battlefield 3 was set to ultra without MSAA and worked fine. Some other games that didn't work were pretty old like Sonic Adventure DX and 2. Sonic Adventure 2 runs in DX9 and I've noticed it stutters at the same parts. Whenever I jump off a ramp the video freezes and skips ahead, as an example. Gameplay is a constant 60fps though.

njdom24 Are you recording in MP4 without Intel Quick Sync or MP4 with (Intel Quick Sync)?

Because I found that without Intel Quick Sync I can only record at 720 at 30 fps on BF3 even when I set it to 60. and with Intel Quick Sync I have no problem.
