Audio is skipping when recording

Thu Jan 30, 2014 3:14 am

I am fairly new to the "mirillis Action!" recording software, but I've encountered a problem. I use both the Video Record and Audio Record, both at the same time to record gameplay. The microphone audio is set into a different file than the gameplay and gameplay audio itself. Nothing is wrong with the gameplay file, but the separate, individual microphone audio file seems to skip. It has this break sometimes, and it also goes faster or sometimes slower than it should. I had to put it in Vegas Pro and edit it to try and closely sync it with the gameplay. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help me with it?

I almost have the same issue with Action! (I use the 1.17.1.0 version): I use it to record my desktop, and the microphone recording works fine, but it doesn't record system sounds, even if I don't use the multi-channel audio recording.

Probably Action! cannot keep up with two recording processes at the same time. Please try recording your audio to the same file and see if the same issue occurs.
