Greyed out video?

So I was recording Borderlands 1 for the last hour and 40 mins this evening for my youtube channel as a "let's play" and when I clicked stop recording, it just froze at 30 fps and stay in red I had to Alt+Tab to get out of the Borderlands 1 now I have a video like this that is completely unplayable in Windows Movie Maker, Windows Media Players and Actions very own Movie player, but the weird thing is if I highlight over it the file size is nearly 5 GB


now I had this problem last night when I was recording for 2 hours 50 mins, but during last week and the weekend before all these problems started up I was recording files 2 - 3 hours long and not once did I hit these problems it may have froze with me as I was live-streaming but that's it

is there away to make the video playable or will I have to continue my let's play without that video?

Unfortunately if Action! crashed during recording the video file became unusable.
