Ideal game recording settings for youtube upload?

So, what I am looking for is ideal game recording settings.
I will be editing in premier pro, rendering to recommended encoding settings for youtube @ 1080p and uploading.

I want to have my source video(recorded footage) as good quality as possible without being 8-10gb per 5 minutes(because I'll be recording for hours at a time).

Does anyone have any suggestions for my settings for recording that will make my end product look as great as possible without the raw footage taking up 200-400gb?
