Controlling Action! from another program

I am interested in controlling the Action! software from my own program, preferably from another computer. Is there an API that is accessible? Is it possible to get the Android Remote Control communication spec?

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently there is no open API for Action and ARC.
