Audio Delay Issues - How I fixed them.

Tue Jul 01, 2014 11:17 am

Ofcourse with the 1.19.2 update I started using Action! again but there was the problem.. My audio gradually started getting more and more delayed throughout the videos which really left me disappointed.

After getting tired of screwing around in VSTHost I went from using Cable 1 (Virtual Audio Cable) to my Realtek High Definition Audio input driver, so I set the mic input as that on Action!

The next day I tested it some more there was no delay and I haven't bothered to go back to testing VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) outputs and the rest of the setup again.

Just letting you know that the speeding problems are most likely caused by the codec not reading the audio inputs at the same speed (or maybe the same speed, just different processing delays them from one another) as they probably differ in quality or bitrate.

Good luck guys! Loving the file sizes with Quick Sync.
