Pause won't work.

Hi. Using Win 8 and currently a day into trial version.

Action seems to work fine except it won't pause.

The shift+F9 didn't work so I deleted registry and reinstalled. I also installed android remote control app.

Both worked (i.e paused recording) for literally one test vid - and now they won't work again.

The normal F9 and 'stop' button on android remote work, but pause is broken.

I'm doing gameplay vids for a strategy game so I really do need to pause the game whilst I micromanage boring stuff...

Is this a known issue? I'm happy to buy Action! if it does want I need - but no pause would be a game-breaker for me...

Also I cant change the hotkeys - no matter what I do with registry deletes and reinstalls.

Please make sure that you have AVI format set. Pause feature is not available for MP4 videos.

Ah, OK.

Thing is, youtube seems to take ages and often crash when uploading and converting long avis, whereas 720p mp4s work brilliantly.

I don't have an avi to mp4 converter either. Is there one built in or a decent freeware one available?

You can use Action! built-in exporting feature.

I have a "Steam" version. I use hardware encoding "Intel Quick Sync" when recording video. Will make a function to pause the video format "MP4"?

Yes, new version will allow you to pause MP4 videos.
