ACTION! screwed the audio file - please help!

Hey,

i'm from germany and currently using "ACTION!" to record skype conversations with a couple of friends. The first couple of tries everything went perfect, but today we tried doing a recording with a running time of 1:16:20. ACTION! recorded the audio that long, i had to stop it manually at the end, so everything was fine. It produced a file size of 4 GB, bit much, but okay. So, when i went into the folder to listen to the recording it just stopped at 10:26. Even in the properties of the audio file, it says "4000 mb" filesize, but only 10:26 running time. It's proven we recorded for over an hour and there was no time limitation or recording limitation set. Now, with a file that's 4GB in size, im fairly certain that the audio for the whole hour must be in that file. Yet i can't hear the full thing. Or, better phrased, it tells me the recording is only 10:26 long. What's the problem here? Can the recording be saved? Do we have to do it again - and how can i defend my recordings against such a problem happening again?
