Not Recording DirectX

(Thought I posted this from my phone but I'll try again) I've been using Action for about a year now as my only recording related software, Last time I used it was about 2 weeks ago, maybe 3. Now when I start it and try to record, the FPS counter on the hud stays blue instead of turning red, and after a few seconds it stops, with a blank, 0mb recording. I've tried reinstalling, deleting the registry keys, running as administrator, and running in compatibility mode. The games I tried to record was warframe, sims 4, and the walking dead season 2. All other recording modes work just fine. Did anything change over the past few weeks? I haven't added anything to my computer recently.

Managed to find out what caused this issue specifically in desperation. The logitech tools that allowed me to see the battery life and settings of my keyboard/mouse combo was somehow preventing Action! from recording.
