"Your trail has expired."

I'm starting to get really tired of this program. First I buy a $60 recording program which worked for a week and then stopped working for some unexplainable reason, which apparently, no one on this forum knows how to fix the random crashes.

Recently, I launch the program through steam, meaning there is no way I could of pirated this software, and it says "Your trail has expired." When I bought the program through steam, they never supplied me with a serial code, at least from what I remember. I don't know if I am missing something, or if I simply got ripped off and need a refund.
