Action and greyed out 120 fps?

Why is the 120 fps option greyed out?

120fps option is available only for AVI videos.

And why is that? Isn't it better that 120 fps is supported via the mp4 nvenc for extra backup by cuda for recording such fps?

120fps feature has been added mostly for post-processing purposes such as slow motion videos. It shouldn't be used to record regular videos.
