DayZ, Action! & BattleEye

Fri Mar 13, 2015 12:23 am

To Mirillis Support Staff,

I understand their is a conflict with Battle Eye anti-cheat software and Mirillis Action!. This conflict is business 101, "Know your customer's needs" "stand up make a decision" "DO NOT BLAME other companies." This is the sign of weak leadership and places your customers in a frustrated position. Please take the necessary steps to resolve this issue or post an official announcement that you will not support the necessary changes for implementation.

Remember, the game is the primary activity, broadcasting/recording is secondary. That places your product in a support role. The 3 million+ DayZ users are not going to stop playing DayZ. If you cannot resolve this we will find another solution with another company.

Respectfully,

Eric

We are currently working on an alternative plug-in method but the release depends if this will affect Action! performance or its functionality. If it will, we will not be adding this alternative method.

I would think any performance is better then zero performance with no functionality :)

DayZ can be recorded without BattleEye or with Screen Mode. There is no issue with the game itself.

Well you can't play with anyone but hackers without Battle Eye , and NO ONE wants to play their games in a windowed mode.. ridiculous excuses by a company that is either unable or too lazy to resolve a issue for customers who have already paid and have no recourse, since Action! no longer works as it did when purchased, and I purchased it for Dayz, will Mirillis be offering refunds for their no-longer functional software?

Do you know when that may be by chance(The Release)? Because I was really looking forward to buying this product but I tried the trial and I couldn't get dayz working with action could open mostly any other game and have it work.I really like this product and if I could actually use it would be the best :)
