No video track when recording MP4 w/ separate mic track

OS: Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 970
Memory: 16 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Editor: Vegas 13
Video Type: MP4 (NVIDIA NVENC)

When I record at 60fps 1080p MP4(NVIDIA NVENC) with my mic being a separate audio track, im getting this strange thing when throwing the file into Sony Vegas 13 I get two tracks of audio but no video track. Looking at the video in media player the video is there just no audio.

Although when I record the same way but this time I record my mic with the rest of the audio in one track everything works as it should, I have a video track. I looked up and down for an answer to this issue but found none.
