PC Specification: AMD Radeon HD 7800, Windows 7

Just bought & downloaded action, crashes every start up

I just purchased action, and every time I attempt to open it the error message "Action! has stopped working..." will pop up and the application will close. Spent 50$ on this and haven't found any real way to fix this through my searches online. Is this happening to anyone else? Or is there a way I can fix this?
