They likely just awaiting something approval for the release or an important member of the team got ill.
Still, yeah it's now a bit behind schedule.
I hope installation won't contain a lot of "malware". I didn't like that last time I tried splash.
What "malware" are you talking about? Can you elaborate?MeiVincible wrote:I hope installation won't contain a lot of "malware". I didn't like that last time I tried splash.
The free version of Splash contains a lot of bad stuff. The paid version is clean.MozartMan wrote:What "malware" are you talking about? Can you elaborate?MeiVincible wrote:I hope installation won't contain a lot of "malware". I didn't like that last time I tried splash.
thanks for warning me, I was hoping v2.0 would replace my other players for playing MKV and FLV but it seems like they are just trying to get more money offering a product that doesn't significantly improve anything over the old abandoned version.sensei wrote:As I expected, it doesn't work.
After trying to play the first video - Home (2009) 1080p mkv - the app crashed.
The second video - 4k porn from Naughty America - the same.
At least 720p seems to work properly: the third video I opened - Ant-Man.2015.720p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS - works.
What the hell have you been doing for the last three years? Previous versions couldn't play 4k videos, but at least could play 1080p videos without any problems. 2.0 seems to be an early beta which cannot even play 1080p. If I were you, I'd be ashamed.
