Action laggy and doesnt open the video

Specs:
i5 4690k
GTX 770
8GB ram
Windows 10

Im trying to record in 120 fps ( my monitor is 75hz) with avi and its near impossible for me:

I can get at least 500fps at most times http://prnt.sc/cz3p33
and when I begin to record it becomes so choppy its unplayable - http://prntscr.com/cz3pim

I then attempt to open the video with the Action video opener and it doesnt work - http://prntscr.com/cz3pv8
So I go to the folder and it remains a black screen - http://prntscr.com/cz3qb2

If someone could please help it would mean so much, thanks.

Does the same issue occurs with 60 fps?
