Simple 'recording' symbol?

This may be somewhere tucked in a Settings option, but is there a simple way to have an icon showing if you're recording or not?
Shadowplay does it well with the small symbol tucked in the bottom right corner and given Action! is a paid platform, I would hope it either already has it or is going to be implemented soon.

Action HUD shows your current record status. Blue HUD is for idle, red HUD is for recording.
