Auto size video

Thu Mar 25, 2010 5:25 pm

The play window does not seem to resize the frame to the size of the movie. There's no such menu command that would otherwise do this (like original size, fit window to video, fit video to window, etc). I'd say this would be a must have basic function.

Hi,

At the moment you may press "1" for 100% video size.

Re: Auto size video - BUG UPDATE!

Ah, great thanks!

BUG UPDATE!
I have a monitor with max resolution of 1680x1050. I was watching an HD video 1920x1080. When I double click the display area I get full screen. Double click again, I get normal mode. So far so good.

Problem:
1. Watch a 1920x1080 HD video on a 1680x1050 screen.
2. Press "1" to max out the window to 100%. At this point the window will be bigger than your screen.
3. Close the video.
4. Now open a video that is smaller and will fit on the screen (1280x720 or smaller). Notice the video window is pinned to the top-left corner and its title bar got lost so you cannot reposition or move the window out of the corner. You can double click the video window to make it full size, then double click it again, the window is still pinned to the top left corner with no title bar. You can press "1" for 100% window size but still cannot move the window.

The only way you can bring the title bar back (and thereby moving the window again) is to resize the window by dragging at a side or corner.
