I did install many different versions of the forceware drivers but still the same problem. My main problem is the fact that in windows xp i didn't have to change anything in the driver settings or the player and it was perfect the default settings are perfect but in windows 7 there not. I did play around with the settings in the nvidia control panel and in the player settings but i still don't get the same picture quality like in xp. Also with other players( bsplayer, vlc, kmplayer) the picture quality on win 7 is exactly like in xp but those players are crap, splash is way better then the rest.P.J wrote:Did you install the latest Forceware driver?
You can also change many settings in Nvidia control panel.

Would you take screenshot in both Win7/XP?
No only Splash has this problem.P.J wrote:Your welcome
Anyway, it's not good way because forces to use Basic theme and else.
Do you get the dark problem with Windows Media Player 12 too?
Sorry but i don't understand what exactly you want. If you're talking about the video file which in splash is very dark, it's not just a video, it's every video it doesn't matter what it is. Every single video/movie I opened in splash was very dark, until you told me about that option.P.J wrote:Strange, would you provide the video file?
