Re: Action! 1.5.0

Hello, i wanted to share my way of obtaining an uncompressed avi from fic file:
- get VirtualDub an install the directshow plugin for it
- open the file, don't change anything except audio disable option in audio menu, if you don't do this, VD will freeze and/or crash
- save as avi, it will save as uncompressed by default

As far as audio goes, i haven't found any 'clean' menthod of extraction - i simply compress fic into mp4 in action!, and extract wav using an audio/video converter (i used Free Media Converter 2.0)

After this, you can open the recording in any vid editting software ;-)

Now time for some rant / nerd rage:
Mirillis, like WTF?! You are geniuses that did all those wonderous things with gpu accelleration and stuff (no sarcasm), but yet you refuse to give us the option to export fic to avi built in action! w/o all this mumbo jumbo. Why?!
(yes, i know, it has been said several times on this forum, but here, i did it again :-) )

Once MA! make the option available to record in Avi. Does this mean our recordings in avi. will lag more than fic.?

This is Flash Player fault and happens only with Firefox browser and newest flash update.

If everything is working as it should then all I can say is - seriously? That's nothing. The file size depends on game graphic level. The fancier the game looks, the bigger the file size.
